Wison Engineering wins USD4.04bn ADNOC Gas EPC contract

China-based engineering services company Wison Engineering Services Co. Ltd. (HKG: 2236) said on Friday it has secured a USD3.9bn Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract from ADNOC Gas for Phase 2 of the Rich Gas Development Project in Abu Dhabi, alongside a 220KV switch station.

The total award is valued at about USD4.04bn and is reported to be the largest EPC contract in Wison Engineering's history.

The project, located in the Habshan area, involves building a new large-scale natural gas processing train for ADNOC Gas. It includes gas pipelines, separation and condensate stabilisation units, acid gas removal units and deep natural gas liquids recovery units, as well as the switch station.

Once operational, the train is expected to expand ADNOC Gas' processing capacity, improve flexibility and support the UAE's downstream and petrochemical sectors. Wison Engineering plans to apply its experience in oil and gas processing, complex facility design and integrated EPC delivery throughout execution.

The company will combine local operations in Abu Dhabi with its global supply chain to support efficient delivery and ADNOC Gas' 2030 growth plans. It said the award strengthens its position in international energy engineering and supports further expansion in the Middle East and other oil and gas markets.
