Londian Wason lists on NYSE

Chinese electrolytic copper foil manufacturer Londian Wason New Energy Tech Inc. (NYSE: FOIL) announced on Thursday that it has completed its New York Stock Exchange listing under the ticker FOIL, making it the only copper foil producer to have listed in the United States.

The initial public offering comprised about 4.3 million American Depositary Shares priced at USD22.00 each, underwritten by a syndicate including Cantor Fitzgerald & Co., Huatai Securities (USA), Inc., CMB International Capital Limited, US Tiger Securities, Inc., Fortune Securities, BOCOM International and VC Brokerage Limited. The shares opened at USD26.00 on debut, an 18.18% premium to the offer price.

Copper foil is a core material for batteries, copper clad laminate and PCB applications. Londian Wason manufactures a full range of copper foil products spanning ultra-thin battery foil and PCB foil from HTE to HVLP specifications, and it was the largest supplier of lithium-ion battery copper foil by sales volume in 2025. The company serves a diversified global customer base including LG Energy Solution, CATL, SK On, Samsung SDI, ATL and Panasonic Industrial Materials.

Harvest Global Capital Investments Limited and Hithium Global Pte. Ltd. acted as cornerstone investors, with net proceeds earmarked for global production expansion, technology development, manufacturing efficiency, broader product portfolios and general corporate purposes.

For the three months to 31 March 2026, Londian Wason reported revenue of RMB4.07bn (USD582.4m), up 113.71% year on year, and moved from a loss to a net profit of RMB134.5m (USD19.2m).
