Aurrigo awarded GBP1.43m UK Government grant
Transport technology company Aurrigo International plc (AIM: AURR) announced on Monday that it has secured GBP1.43m in UK Government grant funding to investigate the use of autonomous vehicles to improve airport safety.
Under the CAM Pathfinder programme, Aurrigo will deploy its Auto-Shuttle vehicles to conduct security patrols, perimeter inspections and checks of runway and taxiway surfaces for cracks, wear and loose objects that could damage aircraft.
The grant forms part of the UK Government's GBP150m CAM Pathfinder programme, delivered in partnership with Zenzic and Innovate UK, and is subject to HMG approval.
