NCC to build new SEK270m elementary school in Porvoo
Nordic construction company NCC AB (STO: NCC-B) said on Tuesday it has agreed with the City of Porvoo to build a new elementary school for about 450 students in Porvoo, Finland.
The partnering-form project, valued at approximately SEK270m, will now move into the construction phase. NCC worked with the city and other partners during the development phase to plan functionality, materials and project solutions.
Peippo school will span around 7,000 square metres and provide classrooms for preschool to year-6 pupils.
Demolition began in April, followed by preparatory groundwork and construction. Completion is scheduled for spring 2028, and the order will be recorded in the NCC Building Nordics business area in the second quarter of 2026.
