Kongsberg secures NOK2bn F-35 component contract with Lockheed Martin
Norwegian technology group Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OSE:KOG) announced on Wednesday that its defence subsidiary Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) has signed an agreement with Lockheed Martin (NYSE:LMT) valued at NOK2bn for the delivery of components for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.
The contract covers production lots 20-22 and extends KONGSBERG's ongoing F-35 component manufacturing through 2030. Deliveries will include rudders, vertical leading edges, and main landing gear closeout panels, produced at KONGSBERG's advanced facilities in Norway.
The agreement supports all three F-35 variants and reinforces KONGSBERG's long-term role as an industrial partner to Lockheed Martin. It also confirms the company's enduring position within the global F-35 programme.
