GreenDot expands into France with acquisition of RG Group
Plastic waste recycling company Agilyx ASA (OSE:AGLX) (OTCQX:AGXXF) announced on Wednesday that GreenDot has acquired French mechanical recycler RG Group, including two LDPE recycling sites in Tence and Saint-Pal-de-Mons.
The transaction expands GreenDot's European footprint and strengthens its ability to supply recycled materials to packaging manufacturers.
Agilyx holds a 44% stake in GreenDot.
RG Group, founded in 2019, generated approximately EUR20m in revenue in 2025 and employs 50 staff. This acquisition establishes GreenDot's first operational presence in France and enhances its capabilities in commercial and industrial polyethylene film recycling.
RG currently processes over 20 kilotonnes annually of LDPE film, with potential to increase capacity beyond 35 kilotonnes. Favourable regulatory incentives in France promote the use of locally sourced recycled materials.
The acquisition reinforces GreenDot's position in both household and post-commercial LDPE recycling streams and supports its strategy to expand as a European supplier of high-quality recycled plastics.
