Storytel partners with RDF Media to expand audiobook market in Chile
Swedish audiobook and e-book streaming service Storytel AB (STO:STORY-B) announced on Tuesday that it has entered into a strategic partnership with RDF Media, a leading Chilean and Latam radio, digital audio, and podcast producer, to accelerate the growth of audiobooks and e-books in Chile.
This collaboration combines Storytel's streaming platform, global content catalogue, and market expertise with RDF Media's local market knowledge and audience reach.
RDF Media reaches 1.5 million Chileans daily through its radio stations and social media, and will promote Storytel's brand and content while developing exclusive local productions. The partnership aims to provide Chilean customers with access to Storytel's content tailored to local tastes and cultural preferences.
The initiative leverages Storytel's existing resources in close collaboration with RDF, reflecting a long-term commitment to strengthening the company's presence in the Chilean market. The platform has been launched immediately, with a focus on culturally relevant narratives and voices.
