Blink Publishing acquires new Freddie Flintoff memoir
Publishing company Bonnier Books UK announced on Monday that its commercial non-fiction imprint Blink Publishing has secured world all languages rights to a new autobiography by former England cricketer and broadcaster Freddie Flintoff. The deal was brokered by Associate Publisher Matthew Phillips and Madison Lygo of M&C Saatchi Merlin.
Set for release on 23 October 2025 in hardback, audio and eBook formats, the memoir offers an introspective account of Flintoff's life, from childhood beginnings in cricket to career-defining highs and personal challenges. The narrative is structured around pivotal episodes, including his 2005 Ashes triumph, media scrutiny, injuries and his return to the sport following a serious car accident.
Flintoff, a bestselling author, described the book as a comprehensive reflection on his life and enduring relationship with cricket, calling it both a personal journey and a tribute to the game that shaped and, at times, saved him.
