Swedish audiobook and e-book streaming service Storytel AB (STO:STORY) announced on Tuesday that the Swedish Competition Authority has granted approval for its acquisition of publishing house Bokfabriken, removing any barriers to completing the deal.

Despite no legal obligation, Storytel voluntarily submitted the transaction for review by the Swedish Competition Authority in February 2025. With the approval now granted, Storytel Group welcomes Bokfabriken as a full part of the group and said that it and looked forward to further collaboration in delivering compelling stories.
