Wiley signs licence agreement with India's One Nation One Subscription initiative
Publishing company Wiley (NYSE: WLY) announced on Wednesday that it has signed a three-year license agreement under India's One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative, granting access to nearly 2,000 journals for 18 million students, researchers and faculty across more than 6,300 government higher education institutions and research centres.
This initiative aims to create a unified national research ecosystem, democratising access to scholarly resources and fostering India's position as a global leader in scientific discovery.
ONOS aligns with the government's Viksitbharat@2047 vision, supporting research growth in tier 2 and tier 3 cities while enhancing open-access publishing opportunities.
Wiley, a global leader in research and learning, continues to expand its role in advancing education and innovation.
