Bonnier Books UK appoints new joint CEOs

Publishing company Bonnier Books UK announced on Wednesday that it has appointed Sarah Benton and Jonathan Perdoni as joint CEOs, succeeding Perminder Mann.

Benton, the current MD of the adult trade division, will also join the UK Group Board as an Executive Director. Benton joined Bonnier Books UK two years ago, driving a 100% increase in profits and leading the successful integration of Black & White Publishing in 2024. Under her leadership, the adult division is expected to grow by 20% in 2025.

Perdoni, who has been with the company for 15 years, steps up from his role as COO/CFO. Perdoni has been instrumental in modernising the company's operations, will continue to lead its sustainability initiatives.

Jim Zetterlund, Chairman of Bonnier Books UK, highlighted the new CEO partnership as a key milestone in the company's ongoing expansion. Benton and Perdoni are set to continue building on the company's 10-year growth, which has seen its UK market footprint grow by 220%.

Bonnier Books UK is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025 and remains home to bestselling authors like Lynda La Plante and Holly Black. The company has also expanded into genres such as science fiction, fantasy, and romance, while continuing to grow its children's division.
