Ratos consolidates construction operations in new company Sentia
Swedish private equity firm Ratos AB (STO:RATO-B) announced on Wednesday that it has consolidated its construction operations in Norway and Sweden into a new company, Sentia.
Sentia brings together HENT, operating in Norway, and SSEA Group, operating in Sweden, creating a leading Nordic construction group.
This consolidation aims to enhance collaboration, improve competitiveness and drive growth by leveraging synergies between the subsidiaries.
Sentia will focus on projects with the public sector and major private sector customers, prioritising responsible growth with a strong emphasis on safety and sustainability.
While operating under their respective brands, HENT and SSEA Group will benefit from shared expertise, a larger customer base and increased flexibility in terms of resources.
Jan Jahren, CEO of HENT, will also serve as CEO of Sentia, while Christian Wieland will continue to lead SSEA Group and serve as vice president of Sentia. The consolidation of HENT and SSEA Group under Sentia was completed in December 2024.
