Bonnier Books UK announces launch of new non-fiction imprint, LEAP

Book publisher Bonnier Books UK announced on Friday that it has launched LEAP, a new non-fiction imprint, aimed at inspiring positive change and fostering growth.

The imprint will be led by Carole Tonkinson, who transitions from Editor-at-Large to Publisher. LEAP will replace the Lagom imprint and will focus on a wide range of topics including lifestyle, wellbeing, cultural conversations and significant social issues. The books, defined by an optimistic stance and expert-led yet peer-to-peer tone, will highlight individuals driving change and offer insights on personal and collective transformation.

Tonkinson explained that LEAP encourages readers to embrace change and take risks for personal growth, drawing inspiration from the collective noun for leopards, known for their impressive leaps. LEAP's forthcoming titles will span memoirs, psychology, health, self-help and more.

Confirmed titles for LEAP include I'll Never Call Him Dad Again by Caroline Darian, which addresses the issue of 'chemical submission'; Letter From Japan by Marie Kondo, offering a celebration of Japanese tradition;Thread by Hannah Marsh, examining Caesarean Section; and Fawning by psychologist Ingrid Clayton, exploring a lesser-known trauma response.
