HarperCollins launches HarperPop imprint for pop culture and trend-driven titles
Consumer book publisher HarperCollins Publishers announced on Wednesday that it has launched HarperPop, a new imprint dedicated to licensed pop culture brands and trend-driven books for both adults and children.
Set to debut in winter 2025, HarperPop will collaborate with major brands and personalities to produce exclusive titles for their fanbases.
The imprint will be led by Dave Linker, Editorial Director, Erica Sussman, VP, Publisher at HarperCollins Children's Books and Carrie Thornton, SVP, Publisher of Dey Street Books.
HarperPop will feature a mix of bestselling backlist and new releases from iconic brands like Dungeon & Dragons, The Elf on a Shelf, FGTeeV, My Little Pony, The Simpsons, Emily the Strange, Squishmallows, YouTuber Jacob Geller and Bethesda, known for games like Fallout, Doom and The Elder Scrolls.
The company is a subsidiary of News Corp (Nasdaq: NWS) (NWSA; ASX) (NWS, NWSLV) and operates in 15 countries. It publishes approximately 10,000 books annually across a wide range of genres.
