Vietnam-based technology and IT services provider FPT Corporation (HOSE:FPT) announced on Thursday that it has opened a new office in Munich, strengthening its presence in Bavaria and reinforcing its long-term strategy to deliver AI-driven services across Germany and the broader European market.

The expansion is positioned to enhance delivery capabilities and support faster, more scalable client engagement in a key industrial and technology hub.

The company said the Munich location aligns with its focus on investing in innovation centres to meet rising demand for AI transformation and improve client time-to-value. FPT highlighted proximity to customers in manufacturing, automotive and high-tech sectors as a core driver of the move.

FPT Software senior vice president and FPT Europe CEO Dzung Tran said the expanded presence will support closer collaboration with regional clients and participation in Europe's innovation ecosystem.

A conference held alongside the opening focused on practical AI strategies across high-growth industries. Participants included partners and clients such as E.ON, Covestro, Schaeffler, Allego, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and OutSystems, with discussions centred on AI adoption, sustainability applications, and governance frameworks for scalable deployment.
