Youth appointments to advisory body
The Government today announced the appointments of Jennifer Ho and Pinky Lau to the Committee on the Promotion of Civic Education, selected through the Member Self-recommendation Scheme for Youth.
They will serve from tomorrow to March 31, 2028.
This non-statutory body advises the Government on the objectives and scope of civic education outside schools.
The Government aims to recruit young people who are eager to serve the community to join its advisory committees through the scheme to provide more opportunities for them to participate in policy discussions.
