Amaroq launches Single Mine Origin gold sales from Nalunaq mine in Greenland
Mine development company Amaroq Ltd (AIM, TSX-V, NASDAQ Iceland: AMRQ) (OTCQX: AMRQF) announced on Friday the launch of Single Mine Origin (SMO) gold sales from its Nalunaq mine in Greenland, following its successful integration into the SMO platform.
The initiative makes Nalunaq gold fully traceable from mine to market, and is available exclusively to Greenlandic residents.
All SMO-accredited gold from Nalunaq is shipped to the UK and produced under internationally recognised responsibility standards, supported by independently audited ESG data. The gold is mercury-free and aligns with Amaroq's commitment to high environmental and social standards.
Amaroq said that through this launch its reinforces its leadership in ethical mining and community engagement by ensuring local access to responsibly sourced gold.
