Powerfleet and MTN Business forge strategic partnership to accelerate AIoT adoption across Africa
Powerfleet Inc (Nasdaq: AIOT), a provider of AIoT SaaS for mobile asset management, announced on Monday that it has entered into a major partnership with MTN Business South Africa, part of MTN Group - the continent's largest mobile network operator with 297 million customers and USD7.4bn in annual revenue. By integrating Powerfleet's device-agnostic Unity AIoT platform with MTN's expansive connectivity infrastructure, the joint solution delivers real-time operational visibility across supply chains, including warehouses, vehicles and infrastructure. It enables AI-driven risk detection, predictive maintenance, energy optimisation and connected compliance aligned with ESG frameworks.
MTN will white label the Unity platform, offering it directly to its business customers to drive broad AIoT adoption in key sectors such as logistics, mining, transportation, utilities and manufacturing. This partnership leverages MTN's extensive market reach and reputation as Africa's most admired brand to accelerate digital transformation across enterprise operations.
