XPeng opens European orders for G6 and G9 electric SUVs with ultra-fast charging and premium features

Chinese AI electric vehicle company XPeng Inc (NYSE:XPEV, HKG:9868) on Friday announced the official launch of sales in Europe for its redesigned G6 and G9 electric SUVs, expanding its presence across key markets including France, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Both models introduce next-generation features built on XPeng's proprietary 800V full-domain architecture and 5C Supercharging AI Battery.

The XPeng G9 and G6 offer charging speeds of up to 525 kW and 451 kW respectively, delivering a 10% to 80% charge in just 12 minutes. With WLTP ranges of up to 585 km for the G9 and 535 km for the G6, both vehicles aim to eliminate range anxiety for European drivers.

The G6 showcases a new aerodynamic coupe SUV design, enhanced interior comfort, and increased cargo space, while the G9 emphasises flagship-level luxury, advanced noise insulation, and a high-performance suspension system. Both SUVs are equipped with NVIDIA Orin-X and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chipsets, powering AI-based features such as automated parking and remote summon.

Customer deliveries across Europe are set to begin by the end of summer 2025.
