TGS secures 4D seismic acquisition contract in Barents Sea
Norway-based energy data and intelligence company TGS ASA (OSE:TGS) announced on Friday that it has been awarded a 4D streamer acquisition contract for the Goliat 4D field in the Barents Sea, operated by Vår Energi ASA (OSE:VAR).
The project is scheduled to begin in July and will run for approximately 20 days.
This contract adds to TGS's portfolio of 4D seismic work on the Norwegian continental shelf for the 2025 summer season. The company has already secured a separate 45-day project in the Barents Sea, with the newly awarded contract set to be executed back-to-back.
