ENGAGE XR unveils education offering at Bett 2025 with Meta and OptimaED
Immersive technology company ENGAGE XR Holdings Plc (AIM: EXR) on Wednesday declared the launch of its new education offering at Bett 2025 in London, in partnership with Meta and OptimaED. The immersive platform, tailored for the K12 education market, includes a suite of teaching tools designed to enhance learning through virtual experiences and curriculum-focused content.
The ENGAGE XR education package offers educators an ENGAGE license to create and share content, enabling virtual field trips, historical explorations and interactive science experiments. Key features include 'School of AI', which introduces 22 historical figures powered by generative AI, a BioLab with detailed biology models, and over 180 hours of immersive lessons from OptimaED.
The offering also includes several VR experiences such as Apollo 11 VR, Titanic VR, Shuttle Commander and Titans of Space, which enhance engagement with hands-on learning experiences.
The K12 education market has seen significant growth in immersive technology adoption and the affordability of the Quest 3S headset, priced from USD299, is expected to drive further expansion. Meta, collaborating with ENGAGE XR, will launch 'Meta for Education' later this year to manage large-scale XR device deployments, positioning ENGAGE XR as a key partner. OptimaED has also significantly increased its ENGAGE license usage, with continued growth expected in 2025.
ENGAGE XR develops the ENGAGE platform, an immersive VR/AR tool used globally by enterprises and educational institutions to transform training, collaboration and education.
