Logitech Spot enhances workplace efficiency and well-being

Software-enabled hardware solutions provider Logitech (SIX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI) announced on Wednesday that it has launched Logitech Spot, a radar-based sensor designed to optimise workplace environments. The device monitors space occupancy and environmental conditions, automating meeting room reservations while providing insights to improve air quality and reduce energy consumption.

With research linking poor air quality to cognitive decline and absenteeism, Logitech Spot helps companies enhance employee well-being. The battery-powered sensor installs easily on walls and connects to devices like the Logitech Tap Scheduler or LoRaWan gateways for wider area networks. Data from Spot feeds into Logitech's Sync management portal, where IT and facilities teams can access room performance, health scores and energy suggestions.

Spot integrates with several platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Appspace, Zoom Workplace and others. It also offers energy management features by analyzing temperature and occupancy data to optimise energy use in unoccupied spaces. The sensor's ultra-low power consumption ensures a battery life of up to four years.

Pricing for Logitech Spot will be available in the second half of 2025, with service plans starting at USD199 per room annually. It is also integrated into Logitech's Rally Board 65, a portable video conferencing solution.
