Finnish media company Sanoma Corporation (HEL:SANOMA) announced on Monday that it has acquired a portfolio of learning materials for secondary and vocational education from Finnish publisher Edita Oppiminen Oy, a subsidiary of Edita Group.

This acquisition complements Sanoma's existing product portfolio in Finland and supports its strategy to grow its K12 learning business.

The acquired portfolio generated pro forma net sales of approximately EUR4m in 2024.

Edita's services to teachers and students, including access to digital content, will continue uninterrupted during the current school year. No employees will be transferring to Sanoma as part of this transaction.
