Bonnier Books UK appoints new brand and communications leaders
Publishing company Bonnier Books UK announced on Monday that it has strengthened its central brand and communications team with two senior appointments.
Rachel Johnson has rejoined the company as Group Brand & Audience Development Director, bringing extensive experience from her previous role at Bonnier Books UK and her time at Creative UK. She will oversee brand strategy, audience development, digital platforms and corporate events.
Ruth Howells, who joined in late 2024, has been appointed Corporate Communications Director. Previously with the Publishers Association for six years, Ruth now leads internal and external communications and manages key corporate projects.
Perminder Mann, CEO of Bonnier Books UK, praised the appointments, saying: "Rachel and Ruth bring exceptional expertise and are already making an impact. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary and look to the future, their combined talents will elevate our brand and communications."
Johnson expressed her enthusiasm for rejoining, citing the company's culture of creativity and collaboration, while Howells noted her excitement at contributing to Bonnier Books UK during a pivotal time in its growth and evolution.
