Zoomcar launches chauffeur-driven service in Bengaluru pilot
Indian car-sharing marketplace Zoomcar Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZCAR) announced on Friday that it has launched Zoomcar Cabs in Bengaluru, India as a pilot project, offering professional drivers and commercial vehicles at competitive prices.
This new service expands Zoomcar's portfolio, moving beyond self-drive options to include chauffeur-driven rides. Zoomcar Cabs responds to customer demand for a more reliable and transparent alternative to traditional cab services.
Leveraging AI technology, Zoomcar ensures guests can select specific car models, view detailed reviews and assess vehicle conditions, setting it apart from typical cab services. The app allows full control over routes, destinations and stops, providing flexibility for both short and long bookings, ranging from two hours to over 30 days.
Following a period of strong profitability, Zoomcar is strategically investing in new offerings to improve customer experiences. The Bengaluru pilot will serve as a model for potential expansion into other cities in 2025. This launch redefines the cab industry by combining diversity, quality and freedom for users.
