Glamox acquires Consolite Technology to strengthen naval and defence capabilities
Norwegian lighting company Glamox AS, a subsidiary of GLX Holding AS (OSE:GLX), announced on Thursday that it has completed the acquisition of UK-based Consolite Technology Limited, a specialist in military lighting and optical communication systems.
This addition strengthens Glamox's capabilities in the naval and defence market and expands its technology portfolio within the Marine, Offshore & Wind division.
Consolite, headquartered in Zeals, Wiltshire, England, employs approximately 30 people and has more than 40 years of experience developing specialised lighting and optical communication solutions for naval and defence applications. The company will become part of Glamox's Marine, Offshore & Wind division and work closely with MARL International, which Glamox acquired in 2024.
Glamox said the acquisition enhances its engineering capabilities and supports the delivery of advanced, mission-critical lighting solutions for naval and defence customers.
