COLUMBIA cruise services (CCS) has strengthened its presence in China with the opening of a new office in Shanghai, located next to its cruise partner, Adora Cruises.

The move is designed to bring the two teams closer together, supporting day-to-day operations across Adora's fleet, including technical- and marine management as well as crew services.

A joint opening ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by senior representatives from both organisations.

Hendrik Stellamanns, Managing Director of Columbia Cruise Services, and Norman Schmiedl, CEO of COLUMBIA blue, joined Adora Cruises' leadership team for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the office.

The new location reflects a shared focus on closer collaboration, with both teams working in proximity to strengthen operational support and maintain high safety standards across the fleet.
