Storytel expands English-language audiobook offerings with individual sales
Swedish audiobook and e-book streaming service Storytel AB (STO:STORY-B) said on Tuesday that it is adding thousands of international English-language audiobooks from publishers Penguin Random House and Hachette, now available for individual purchase.
This expansion responds to growing demand for English books, with 40% of Storytel users under 35 regularly engaging with English-language content.
Titles available include Prince Harry's Spare, Dan Brown's The Secret of Secrets, James Clear's Atomic Habits, Schuyler Bailar's He/She/They, and Erica Ridley's My Rogue to Ruin.
Individual sales will supplement Storytel's core streaming model, allowing both subscribers and non-subscribers to purchase audiobooks directly in the app or via storytel.com. Existing Storytel users will receive a discount when purchasing titles.
The rollout begins today for users in Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands.
