Amanda Prowse strikes 10-book deal with Lake Union
Amazon Publishing imprint Lake Union has agreed a 10-book deal with author Amanda Prowse, extending their partnership through to 2031, book news company The Bookseller revealed on Monday.
Senior editor Victoria Pepe negotiated the agreement with agent Viola Hayden of Curtis Brown, with two titles scheduled for release each year.
Prowse, known for novels including The Girl in the Corner and Swimming to Lundy, said the contract secures "the perfect home" for her work and praised the Amazon Publishing team for offering creative freedom.
Pepe highlighted Prowse's strong fan base and described the expanded partnership as an opportunity to reach new readers. Hayden said she looked forward to continued collaboration with Amazon Publishing and the author in the years ahead.
