InterLAN upgrades European network with Nokia IP routing solutions
Finnish telecoms, IT and consumer electronics company Nokia Oyj (HEL:NOKIA) (NYSE:NOK) said on Tuesday that it has been selected by Romanian interconnection platform InterLAN to deploy advanced IP routing solutions across its network.
This upgrade enables high-speed connectivity, increased scalability, and enhanced reliability for Internet Service Providers in InterLAN's portfolio.
The deployment includes Nokia's 7750 Service Router, 7250 Interconnect Router, and FP5 network processor, leveraging IP, MPLS, EVPN, and segment routing features to optimise infrastructure. High-capacity 400GE and future-ready 800GE capabilities ensure seamless interconnection between InterLAN's points of presence in Romania, Bulgaria, and Germany.
Nokia's Service Router Operating System (SR OS) provides a stable and adaptable platform, future-proofing InterLAN's network. The upgrade supports long-term reliability, simplified operations, and scalable performance to meet growing demand across Europe.
