Simon & Schuster partners with Urano World to expand Spanish-language publishing reach
Global publisher Simon & Schuster and Urano World Publishing Group, an independent publisher in Spain and Latin America, on Wednesday announced a joint publishing arrangement involving Primero Sueño Press, an imprint of Simon and Schuster's Atria Books, and Urano Publishing.
This marks the first time Simon & Schuster will distribute directly into Spanish-speaking markets.
The collaboration supports Simon & Schuster's broader international expansion strategy, which includes publishing in English, translated works and foreign languages. Under the agreement, Urano World and its imprints will publish selected Spanish-language titles in Spain and Latin America.
Titles will also be distributed globally across most Spanish-speaking territories. In the United States, co-published works will appear under the Primero Sueño Press imprint.
The inaugural list includes over 20 translated titles, with the first release set for 21 October 2025 -- the Spanish edition of For Whom the Belle Tolls by Jaysea Lynn. Additional planned titles include The Book of Shadow Work; Detoxify: The Everyday Toxins Harming Your Immune System; and The Ghosts of Where We Are From.
