Kongsberg Automotive expands Indian operations with upgraded manufacturing facility in Faridabad
Automotive technology company Kongsberg Automotive (KA) (OSE:KOA) announced on Wednesday that it has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Faridabad, India, relocating from its previous site within the same area.
This move underscores the company's strategic focus on expanding its footprint in the Indian market.
The upgraded plant spans 6,947 square metres, compared to 5,946 square metres at the previous location. Situated in the Greater Delhi region, the site enables KA to remain close to key customers, ensure business continuity and retain its existing workforce.
KA's Faridabad facility is dedicated to producing Drive Control Systems, including cable gear shifters, steering columns, shift-by-wire systems and shift towers. It also enhances capacity for Flow Control Systems, allowing the company to scale output and support business growth.
