Elaborate Communications and Star Marine PR seal partnership to expand media reach across Japanese and global markets
Elaborate Communications and Star Marine Public Relations have joined forces to strengthen their clients' reach in Japan and across international shipping markets. The partnership combines Elaborate's global maritime PR expertise with Star Marine PR's established Japanese media and industry relationships.
The agreement follows months of discussions between Lisa Jacobs, Elaborate's Head of PR, and Maki Yoshida, CEO and Managing Director of Star Marine PR.
With more than two decades of specialist maritime communications experience, Elaborate Communications will draw on its international media network to help Star Marine PR's clients reach shipping audiences worldwide. Elaborate's clients will, in turn, benefit from Star Marine PR's knowledge and connections to build their profile in Japan.
Maki Yoshida said: "This is an exciting partnership for our clients. Elaborate brings the international expertise and media relationships to raise our clients' profiles worldwide. We are delighted to share our knowledge of Japan in return and work together to create more opportunities for the businesses we represent."
Lisa Jacobs added: "It was a pleasure to finalise this partnership with Maki in Tokyo. We bring years of experience promoting maritime businesses internationally, while Maki brings a deep understanding of Japan. Together, we can help our clients become better known by the people they want to do business with."
Welcoming the move, Sean Moloney, CEO of Elaborate Communications, added: "This partnership gives our clients greater reach, backed by two specialist teams that know shipping."
