RC365 Holding announces virtual card soft-launch trial
Payment solutions and fintech company RC365 Holding plc (LSE: RCGH) announced on Monday that it has begun a limited soft launch of its virtual card capability, offering an alternative to its existing physical payment cards.
The trial will assess user adoption, operational performance, potential cost savings and environmental implications. Virtual cards could reduce physical card production, packaging, fulfilment and replacement costs, while supporting a more scalable payment model. However, no net savings have been quantified, and the company has made no quantified claims regarding emissions reductions or environmental benefits.
RC365 will evaluate activation and retention rates, transaction volumes, operating costs, payment success rates, fraud performance and customer support requirements before considering a wider rollout. Any expansion will depend on the trial results, regulatory and compliance requirements, and operational approvals. The timing and scope of further deployment remain undecided.
Operating primarily in East and Southeast Asia through Regal Crown Technology and HC Capital, RC365 provides payment gateway solutions, IT services, digital remittance, payments, foreign exchange and asset-linked credit card solutions. The company also intends to expand into virtual banking and new markets, including the UK and wider Europe.
