ASSA ABLOY acquires US security hardware manufacturer PACLOCK

Swedish access solutions manufacturer ASSA ABLOY AB (STO: ASSA-B) announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Pacific Lock Company, trading as PACLOCK, a US manufacturer of padlocks and security hardware.

PACLOCK, founded in 1998, employs about 40 people and operates from its main office and factory in Valencia, California.

The business will join the Residential Business Segment within ASSA ABLOY's Americas Division. ASSA ABLOY said the deal supports its strategy to strengthen its position in mature markets by adding complementary products and solutions.

PACLOCK generated 2025 sales of about USD17m (approximately SEK155m) with a strong EBIT margin, and ASSA ABLOY expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings per share from the outset.
