* UK Connect and KeySIM are supporting TEECH, the volunteer-run humanitarian charity, by helping its vehicle teams stay connected while travelling across Europe and Ukraine.

UK Connect is leading the project and supplying the communications equipment, while KeySIM is donating the SIMs needed to provide mobile connectivity for the vehicles' push-to-talk radios.

KeySIM's multi-network SIMs can connect to between two and four mobile networks in the UK and three mobile networks in Ukraine. This gives the radios access to alternative networks as the vehicles travel, rather than relying on a single mobile operator throughout the journey.

The radios will help TEECH's teams maintain communications during long international journeys through multiple countries and while operating in challenging environments.

TEECH, which stands for Telecoms Eastern European Challenge, was established in 1998 and is a UK-registered charity run by an unpaid team of volunteers. Its work includes delivering humanitarian aid and improving facilities for communities across Eastern Europe.

The charity has previously organised convoys carrying food, generators, clothing, medical supplies and other essential aid into Ukraine and neighbouring Moldova.
