Junk Removal 365 Launches JunkQ, an AI Photo-Estimating and Booking Platform for Junk Removal Contractors
* The software quotes junk removal jobs from customer photos, confirms the item list through an automated chat, and accepts online bookings, reducing the number of in-person estimates operators drive to. Plans start at $29 per month.
Sheridan, WY - Junk Removal 365 LLC today announced the launch of JunkQ, a software platform that lets junk removal companies produce priced estimates from customer-submitted photos and accept bookings directly from their websites. The product is available now at getjunkq.com.
Junk removal has long been quoted in person. A homeowner calls, the operator drives to the property, looks at the pile, and gives a number - a round trip that can consume an hour whether or not the job is won. JunkQ is designed to move that step online: the customer photographs the items, and the software returns a price range built from the operator's own rates before anyone gets in a truck.
Response speed is a related pressure. Widely cited research on inbound lead handling, including the Lead Response Management study conducted with Dr. James Oldroyd and Harvard Business Review's 2011 analysis "The Short Life of Online Sales Leads," found that the odds of qualifying an inbound lead fall sharply within the first hour of contact. For a two-person crew already on a job, returning a call inside that window is often not possible.
JunkQ works as a snippet of code that operators paste onto an existing website; the company says the widget runs on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy sites. A visitor uploads photos of the items to be hauled. The system identifies the items, estimates the volume against standard truck-load tiers, and applies the operator's configured pricing, including surcharges for heavy items and job minimums. An automated chat then asks the customer to confirm the item list before a price is shown, which is intended to prevent disputes at the curb. The operator receives a text and email containing the photos, the itemized breakdown, the estimated price range and the customer's verified phone number.
When a photo is unusable or a project is too complex to price automatically - an estate cleanout or a construction debris job, for example - the software does not generate a number. It captures the customer's contact details and photos and routes the job to the operator directly.
The platform also includes JunkQ Field, a mobile version of the same pricing engine for quoting on-site; a shareable quote link operators can post on social profiles; a lead dashboard; ZIP-code gating so quotes are only issued inside a service area; and, on the Pro plan, a flat-rate online booking page where customers select a truck-load size and request a pickup.
"Every free estimate an owner drives to is an hour of fuel and labor spent on a job that may not exist," said Jim Stogian, co-founder of Junk Removal 365 LLC. "We built JunkQ so that a one-truck operator can answer a customer at nine at night with a real number, using his own rates, without stopping what he's doing."
The company said the product was built for independent operators rather than national brands. "The large franchises already have call centers and instant-quote tools," Stogian said. "Most of the people in this industry are competing against that with a cell phone. This closes some of that gap."
JunkQ is offered on two month-to-month plans: Basic at $29 per month, covering unlimited photo estimates and up to 10 service ZIP codes, and Pro at $79 per month, which adds unlimited ZIP codes, removal of JunkQ branding, the online booking page and priority support. Both include a seven-day free trial. The company said estimates are unlimited on both tiers, with no per-lead fees.
