RABAT, Morocco - His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Chad and Head of State, Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, on his country's national day.

In this message, the Sovereign extends His warmest congratulations to President Deby Itno, as well as His best wishes for his personal happiness and for the prosperity of the Chadian people.

On this occasion, HM the King recalls the deep ties of brotherhood and friendship between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Chad, expressing His wish to see them strengthened further.

To this end, the Sovereign assures President Deby Itno of His determination to maintain their joint action for reinforced bilateral cooperation, in the service of both peoples and a united and prosperous Africa.
