Finnish car dealership company Wetteri Oyj (HEL:WETTERI) announced on Friday that it will expand its partnership with Swedish electric performance car brand Polestar (Nasdaq:PSNY) by opening a new Polestar showroom at its Wetteri Airport location in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area in late 2026.

The new facility will be the largest Polestar showroom in Finland and will offer new Polestar vehicles, Polestar Pre-owned used cars and maintenance services.

This expansion is part of Wetteri's Ohittamaton strategy to drive profitable growth through its brand operations and strengthen its presence in the electric vehicle market. CEO Aarne Simula said the new showroom represents a strategic expansion into the new car market in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, building on the company's experience selling Polestar vehicles in Oulu and Kuopio.

Polestar Finland CEO Tommi Luopajärvi said that growing demand for the brand and its expanding model range support the need for a second location in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area.

The Wetteri Airport site, which opened in May 2026 following a business acquisition announced in April 2026, also provides authorised servicing for multiple vehicle brands and a used car showroom.
