Technip Energies secures full notice to proceed on Commonwealth LNG EPC contract
Engineering and technology company Technip Energies (Euronext Paris:TE) announced on Friday that it has received full notice to proceed for a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract with Commonwealth LNG, a Caturus company, for a 9.5 Mtpa liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, United States.
The contract is valued at more than EUR1bn in revenue.
The scope includes delivery of six identical liquefaction trains using the SnapLNG by T.EN modular and scalable solution. The standardised design approach is intended to accelerate project timelines, optimise costs, and improve delivery certainty at scale.
Technip Energies said that this award reinforces its LNG market position, having delivered more than 20% of global operating LNG capacity.
