NYAB acquires TerraWise infrastructure operations to enter Helsinki region
Nordic construction engineering company NYAB (STO: NYAB) announced on Friday plans for its Finnish subsidiary to acquire the infrastructure operations of TerraWise Oy to establish a presence in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
The acquisition aligns with NYAB Finland Oy's growth strategy in key Finnish regions, in a market supported by long-term infrastructure investment. Likewise, TerraWise Oy said the divestment follows its earlier exit from excavation activities and supports its strategic focus on landscape construction.
Specialising in comprehensive earthworks and infrastructure construction, the acquired operations offer a broad range of services that enable end-to-end infrastructure delivery. The transaction includes the transfer of 19 employees and a portfolio of ongoing infrastructure projects in the Helsinki region.
Completion is expected in the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, and is not expected to have a material impact on NYAB's financial position. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
