Flir at CES 2026: Detecting the Undetectable and Predicting the Unpredictable
Visitors to the world's most powerful tech event will discover how the latest thermal camera advances from Flir take condition monitoring to new levels of capability and ease of use.
At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, demonstrations of Flir's next-generation iXX-Series app-enabled thermal cameras will outline how users can transform electrical and mechanical inspections across manufacturing, industrial, commercial, datacenter, and utility environments. In combination with Flir Assetlink browser-based software, iXX users can leverage asset-centric structured data to expedite workflows and decision making. Get ready to think about thermal inspection in a whole new way.
From Booth 9037, Flir will define successful thermal inspections via an array of cutting-edge infrared imaging technologies, with return-on-investment demonstrated across core metrics.
The Ace in the Pack
Taking the spotlight will be the new iXX-Series, which works just like a smartphone, but for thermography. Powered by intuitive apps and built on Flir's new ACE platform, these innovative infrared cameras connect to the cloud and scale easily across teams. Reporting demands up to 50% of a technician's time using traditional workflows. However, thanks to embedded Assetlink software, this percentage drops to zero with connected workflows that allow users to focus on inspections, not paperwork.
Building on the event's reputation as the proving ground for breakthrough technologies, Flir will demonstrate two cameras from the new series, the i64 and i65. Tthese advanced iXX-Series sensors brings the power of NFPA 70B-certified thermal inspections to every technician, no matter their level of experience. This factor is vital as around 60% of maintenance teams currently report a shortage of skilled thermographers.
The While both modelsFlir iXX-Series features high-resolution (480 × 640) thermal imaging, an intuitive 5" touchscreen, and a rugged, glove-friendly design., the i65 also offers built-in LTE connectivity. Flir i65 users can securely upload thermal data, share reports, and collaborate in real time--directly from the field without Wi-Fi access. Visitors to the Flir booth at CES 2026 will see these i64 and i65exciting thermal cameras demonstrate their app-driven capabilities live on a large touchscreen.
Science in Action
The Flir booth will also host science-grade cooled cameras streaming live to screens. Visitors can discover how visualizing minute temperature differences at the best image quality is able to benefit applications such as electronics development, university research, and non-destructive testing.
Further demonstrations are set to include the Flir Edge Pro wireless thermal camera, which transforms an iOS/Android smartphone or tablet into a thermal imager capable of capturing crisp infrared images and videos. Also on show will be the Flir Scout Pro, a new thermal monocular for law enforcement and public safety professionals who demand reliability in high-stake missions.
Wall-mounted screens will display further innovations that include thermal AI cameras, visible AI cameras, urban/interurban intelligent traffic solutions, early fire detection cameras, optical gas imaging technology, video management systems, and PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) AI cameras and radars.
Enhancing the booth's levels of fun and engagement, visitors can try out the Flir thermal selfie booth, take part in the hidden heat challenge, and enter a raffle to win amazing prizes.
The Flir Advantage
"As visitors to our booth will discover, Flir is changing the playing field and evolving the condition monitoring arena with a new world of possibilities," said John Gould - Senior Director Strategic Business Development, Flir. "If you have an interest in preserving critical asset health, maximizing uptime and quality, or gaining predictive insight, you will definitely benefit from the advantages that Flir brings. Innovation, quality, and trust are cornerstones of the Flir ecosystem, which extends far beyond solutions to embrace fully integrated services such as consultancy, technical support, and training."
