Sectra AB (STO: SECT B), a provider of medical imaging IT and cybersecurity, announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with Universitätsmedizin Göttingen (UMG Göttingen) in Germany to expand its enterprise imaging solution with Sectra Amplifier Service, an AI integration platform operated in Microsoft Azure's public cloud. The contract was finalised in the first quarter of Sectra's 2025/2026 fiscal year.

The service enables UMG Göttingen to incorporate third-party AI applications into clinical workflows on a unified infrastructure, streamlining operations and reducing IT complexity and security risks. Sectra will manage integration, deployment, hosting and support.

UMG Göttingen first adopted Sectra's enterprise imaging platform in 2024. With the addition of Amplifier Service, the medical centre aims to accelerate AI adoption to enhance workflow efficiency and improve patient care.

Headquartered in Sweden, Sectra reported sales of SEK3.24bn in fiscal 2024/2025. The company provides imaging IT solutions for healthcare and cybersecurity services for defense and public authorities across Europe.
