Atlas Copco acquires Spanish compressor manufacturer ABC Compressors
Swedish manufacturing company Atlas Copco Group (STO:ATCO-A) announced on Friday that it has acquired Arizaga Bastarrica y Compañia S.A. (ABC Compressors), a Spanish manufacturer of reciprocating compressors for gas and air applications.
Founded in 1943 and based in Eibar, Spain, ABC Compressors also operates an assembly unit in Suzhou, China, with sales offices in India, the United States, and Mexico. A total of 319 employees will join Atlas Copco as part of the transaction.
In 2024, ABC Compressors reported revenues of approximately EUR84m (SEK961m).
Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
ABC Compressors will be integrated into the Air and Gas Applications division within Atlas Copco's Compressor Technique Business Area.
This acquisition strengthens Atlas Copco's global presence in specialised compressor solutions across multiple customer segments.
