Legrand acquires Linkk Busway Systems to expand data centre footprint in Asia
French industrial group Legrand (Euronext Paris:LR) announced on Tuesday its acquisition of Linkk Busway Systems, a Malaysia-based specialist in power busbars for data centres.
This marks Legrand's third acquisition in 2025 and its second targeting the high-growth data centre sector.
Linkk Busway Systems, located in Beranang, Selangor, employs over 240 people and reports annual revenue of approximately EUR45m. The company is recognised in Asia for its expertise in power distribution within data centre grey space.
The acquisition supports Legrand's strategic 2030 roadmap, which focuses on strengthening its position in sectors tied to energy and digital transformation. In 2024, data centre-related activity accounted for 20% of Legrand's proforma revenue.
