Alaska Airlines to launch new service between Portland, Ore. and Reagan National Airport
Alaska Airlines on Wednesday announced plans to begin a new daily service between Portland, Ore. and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington D.C on 28 August 2012.
The launch of the new service follows government approval of the carriers schedule. From 28 August 2012 services are scheduled to leave Portland at 09:30 and arrive in Reagan National at 17:40. Return services are scheduled to leave Reagan National at 17:10 and arrive back in Portland at 19:55.
To celebrate the launch of the new service, Alaska Airlines is offering one-way fares from USD159 for tickets purchased by 13 June 2012, these introductory fares are valid for travel from 28 August to 7 November 2012. Tickets are available for purchase via http://www.alaskaair.com.
Services will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which has seating for 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin.
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air are subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group (NYSE: ALK), and together they serve more than 90 cities through a network in Alaska, the Lower 48, Hawaii, Canada and Mexico.
