Docusign expands Salesforce partnership to embed IAM across Salesforce and Slack
US software company Docusign Inc. (NASDAQ: DOCU) announced on Tuesday that it has expanded its more than 20-year partnership with Salesforce Inc. (NYSE: CRM), a US customer relationship management (CRM) software service, making the Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform natively available across Salesforce, Agentforce and Slack.
The move is intended to help revenue teams progress agreements without leaving their existing workflows. By integrating IAM, the companies plan to reduce friction in closing deals, surface contract intelligence ahead of renewals, and highlight potential risks before issues arise.
Docusign is also positioning itself as a trusted agreement layer for AI agents operating across business applications, extending its agreement capabilities into emerging agentic environments such as Slackforce and the Headless Toolkit.
With the expanded integrations, sales teams can generate agreements inside Agentforce, manage the full agreement lifecycle within their CRM, and maintain visibility from initial customer engagement through to post-signature archiving. Legal teams will be able to review contracts, track renewals, and access post-execution analytics without leaving Salesforce.
Teams can also act on agreements directly within Slack, requesting contracts, pulling live customer and pricing data, applying approved terms, and routing documents to legal within the same conversation thread. Docusign has further advanced agentic workflows in Agentforce, enabling AI agents to track contract terms, surface renewal dates and initiate agreement processes inside the CRM.
