Archer secures three-year extension for North Sea platform services contract
Energy service company Archer Limited (OSE:ARCH) said on Friday that it has received formal notice from Aker BP (OSE:AKRBP) to exercise a three-year extension under the long-term contract awarded in November 2020 for platform drilling and maintenance services on the Ula and Valhall installations in the Norwegian North Sea.
The extension begins at the end of the initial five-year term, extending the contract through 31 December 2028 and ensuring continuity of operations.
Under the extended agreement, Archer will continue to provide platform drilling, maintenance, and intervention support, including integrated engineering, rental equipment, and well services, as part of its #OneArcher service offering.
