US actor Matthew McConaughey will embark on a five-city tour in September to promote his new book, Poems & Prayers, published by Crown.

The book follows the success of his memoir Greenlights and explores themes of faith, self-reflection, and human connection.

The Poems & Prayers Revival Tour will feature spoken word performances, music, and unscripted conversations with special guests. Stops include Brooklyn, Nashville, Tulsa, Los Angeles, and Austin.

Each event is held in partnership with a local independent bookstore, and all tickets include a copy of the book. McConaughey describes the work as "a memory," offering readers a space to reflect, celebrate, and release.
