William Collins acquires revelatory biography on Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson
William Collins, an imprint of book publisher HarperCollins, will publish Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, a joint biography of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, in early autumn 2025, book news company The Bookseller revealed on Wednesday.
Royal biographer and literary agent Andrew Lownie sold British and Commonwealth rights directly to publishing director Arabella Pike.
Based on four years of research, including Freedom of Information requests and over 100 new interviews, the book promises significant disclosures. It examines the Duke of York's business dealings, military service during the Falklands War and ongoing financial ties with Ferguson. Their intertwined personal and public lives are traced from childhood through marriage, divorce and subsequent roles within royal and charitable spheres.
New insights are also offered into Prince Andrew's association with Jeffrey Epstein, suggesting the connection began earlier, lasted longer and was more frequent than previously reported.
Pike described the work as "rigorously researched" and "packed full of revelations" concerning how the Yorks allegedly leveraged royal status for financial benefit. Lownie noted this is the first in-depth investigation into their commercial and philanthropic activities.
